For our next project you will be asked to create a free-standing sculpture using just a square piece of metal.
To begin-create 7 drawings of squares-starting from the outside-draw lines towards the center. Cut out your top 3 designs & cut the lines, then practice forming it. Once you have decided on your design, then transfer it to metal & begin sawing.
Objective:
To create a sculpture from one solid piece of copper by using sawing & annealing methods learned in class.
