Teaset Representations of Self

For our semester long investigation, you are asked to create a juxtaposed image of self through a tea set.

Japanese Tea Ceremony History Reverence of beauty in the daily routine of life. Emphasis on 4 qualities: harmony between guests & utensils, respect among guests & utensils, cleanliness & tranquility, imparted through long & caring use of each article.

Objective: To show a combination of your public vs. private by creating 3D representations of each in a tea set. Your tea set should include: a teapot, a sugar & creamer & 2 teacups. You will have the entire semester to work on this.
